

Dr. Antoine Hannoun is a leading expert in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, with over three decades of experience in advancing fertility care and research. He serves as a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) and is the Founding Director of its In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Program.
Dr. Hannoun completed his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Michigan State University and Saginaw Cooperative Hospitals in the United States, following advanced training rotations at renowned centers including the Cleveland Clinic. He has been at the forefront of introducing innovative fertility treatments in Lebanon and the Middle East, with expertise in IVF, ICSI, fertility preservation, mild stimulation protocols, recurrent implantation failure, and egg freezing.
Dr. Hannoun is an accomplished scholar and thought leader, credited with numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and presentations at major international and regional conferences. He holds key leadership roles in professional organizations, currently serving as President of the Lebanese Fertility Society and Vice President of the Lebanese Endometriosis Foundation. His achievements have been honored with multiple awards recognizing his impact on clinical innovation and scientific excellence.
